One of the first things that hooked me about art, is that one has to listen. And not just any listening. Listening to the deeper layers of sounds and sights. To the deeper layers of what is actually in front of us.

What would happen if we can all listen differently to each other, ourselves and the world and change the course of events. It might change lives, for direct loved-ones and future generations.

Listening is fundamental to dialogue and dialogue is a prerequisite to change.

So what would happen if the whole world would listen their way into a new era of conversation?

The word human comes from the latin word humus, meaning earth & ground. There’s a lot in this meaning that resonates for me. We come from earth, and to earth we return. And somewhere in the middle, a beautiful expression of life itself drives through us.

The human drive to contribute, serve, love, explore & create.

But somehow, we get in our own way. And we find ourselves in a situation where we need to ‘master’ our selves.
